Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine has been a serious breach of international treaties and a violation of sovereign countries. Most of the western leaders and electronic plus print media have displayed Putin as a villain, whereas India has also agreed upon the same.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Russia blames Ukraine as an artificial creator of the Bolsheviks after Brest Litovsk in 1917, and said, that country, never had a tradition of genuine statehood. The scripted and well-practiced effort of all countries that agrees on words like massive, and devastating are been used repeatedly in the news. But this is unlikely to alter by anyone. The western countries cannot take serious measures because the risk associated is an asymmetric response, which can be called a lighter version of \u2018mutual assured destruction\u2019 from the Cold War.<\/span><\/p>\n

Once, Henry Kissinger has quoted \u2013 to be an enemy of America can be dangerous, but to be a friend is fatal. This has always been proven right for ages and is now more often repeated and is factual. Issue violation of Ukrainian sovereignty is not considered a destructive step, as the west has always violated the sovereignty of many countries like Yugoslavia, Serbia, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Panama, Cuba, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and very recently including Afghanistan. They spent trillions of dollars and came to an agreement with the Taliban and left the Afghan nationals in a lurch.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the US and its NATO allies find all the above interventions normal of their National Interest, then why would they change the definition for Russia. After the implosion of the erstwhile USSR in 1991, the cold war era stopped because the independent countries have joined NATO.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ukraine interference directly challenges the US and NATO. Russia has already made clear in the communication that any attempt of bringing Ukraine into NATO will lead to consequences. But, President Joe Biden and his administration didn\u2019t give any assurance, which de-escalated all situations. Instead, the supply of warlike stores was made with the hope that Ukrainian forces may act offensive. US\/NATO is denying the intervention but has not clearly stated anything yet which could have adverse effects globally.<\/span><\/p>\n

Russia supports the Eastern region of Ukraine and as per the reports from media, these partitioners were engaged by Ukrainian forces, on their requests, President Putin sent in the troops.<\/span><\/p>\n

China is taking its chance and focusing on challenging the US to become a world leader by using diplomacy that turns over the fence-sitters on its side. While the US is focused on Russia, it allows China to interfere and dominate Taiwan, Hong Kong, the South China Sea, and the Sea of Japan.\u00a0 China is more interested in Afghanistan and has close eyes on the Indian Army.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lessons of Crisis for India :<\/b><\/h2>\n

The conflict has clearly depicted that nations with weak Military forces will not be able to sustain themselves against technologically advanced countries. Therefore, it is very important that the civil-military gap needs to be bridged. Leaderships should be professionals and political leaning with personal gains. The defense services must belong to the constitution and not to the ruling\/political party. President Putin and President Xi Jinping have played their cards, but it won\u2019t have much effect until US and Europe will engage in it.<\/span><\/p>\n
