G-Core Labs<\/span><\/a> has developed its own global network and IT infrastructure that covers Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America. The company is headquartered in Luxembourg and has offices in Germany and Lithuania. The opening of a new site in Johannesburg, G-Core \u2013 an international content delivery network (CDN) provider that delivers cloud and edge solutions is aiming to continue to grow its global cloud footprint. The Point-of-Presence (PoP) started in South Africa is the first of G-Core Lab\u2019s cloud sites in Africa. It is going to offer its clients both virtual machines (VMs) and bare metal servers powered by Intel SGX processors.<\/span><\/p>\n

The cloud services use Intel SGX integrated encryption technology to provide highly secure enclaves, it also has features an Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform that allows full-cycle machine learning (ML) of any complexity.<\/span><\/p>\n

Seva Vayner, Director of Edge Cloud Stream at G-Core Labs, said, \u201c<\/span>South Africa is showing a continuous growth rate of internet penetration: today, 57% of residents of the South Africa country that is more than 34 million users, regularly work, buy, watch and also play using the internet<\/span><\/i>\u201d. He further added, \u201c<\/span>with the deep interest we\u2019re looking in the region from our global clients in the e-commerce, gaming, and media industries\u201d.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Dedicated Servers and Bare-Metal-as-a Service\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

G-Core labs now own two dedicated servers configurations located in Johannesburg, Africa and both are powered by Intel processors. To gain access to these dedicated server solutions would be every quick just as getting access to virtual machines (VMs), this is all due to G-Core Lab\u2019s new offering Bare-Metal-as-a-Service. Both these dedicated servers are powered by Intel CPUs.<\/span><\/p>\n

It is created to assist clients with the performance and security concerns related to the allocation of platform resources across multiple users. All the servers of this service provider are protected against DDoS attacks at the network protocol level. They are hosted in highly secured Tier IV\/ III data centers. Their cloud services are powered by <\/span>Intel Xeon Scalable<\/span><\/a> (Ice Lake) Gen 3 processors whereas the cloud service quality is guaranteed by an SLA of 99.95%.<\/span><\/p>\n
