Any company offering hosting or its related services can get listed on HostingSeekers. We invite all hosting providers including web hosting, web server, domain hosting, email server hosting, dedicated server, SSL services, domain registration, reseller hosting etc.

We follow an unbiased and transparent process to rate companies using an algorithm. A few ways to get your listing on top can be to complete your profile and get genuine user reviews from your clients.

If your listing is not coming in search, this could be due to multiple reasons. It can be because your listing might not be relevant to the web hosting industry. Or, your company profile is not 75% complete. Also, your listing could be violating our company policies. So make sure that your listing is relevant to web hosting, check that your profile is at least 75% complete and read the company policy to make sure your listing is compliant.

We assign badges to the hosting companies listed on our platform based on certain criteria including performance and user reviews. Badges help to highlight top performing hosting companies that offer a real deal to their users. This will help our visitors to select the right service provider based on a fair ranking badge system.

We rank our clients based on 5 important criteria and allot them badges accordingly.

• Domain Age

  When the company registers with Hostingseekers, we check its WHOIS to find out the domain age and assign one of these badges - Beginner, Moderator and Established. For instance, with a domain age of 2 years, we assign a beginner badge and so on.

• Top-rated

  It is a reviews-specific badge which is categorized as Low, High, and Super High. To earn this badge a company should have 120+ reviews and its rating should be above 4.5.

• Overall profile

  We assign a “Genuine” badge based on the metrics that we find through the Google Business API and some non-negotiable factors like two logins in a month, Google rating of minimum 4, and minimum 2 years of business operations.

• Profile Views

  We assign a “Top Viewed” badge based on the profile views of the company. For instance, a company page that is viewed more than 5 times a day can receive the Top Viewed badge. We track the time spent by a visitor on your company's details page.

• Trust

  One of the most highly ranked badges. The “Trust” badge is offered after conducting a manual test of your server on behalf of the name servers.

Getting client reviews on your HostingSeekers listing is easy.

Step 1: Send the link of your HostingSeekers profile to your client, which contains the ‘Write a Review’ section.

Step 2: Your client can rate your company and share their experience as a review.

Step 3: Only registered users can submit reviews. To register, an autonomous account is created using the social media login of the client’s users on HostingSeekers.

You can keep track of your user reviews for respective companies or software.

HostingSeekers verifies users through a verification link sent to their email ids at the time of the registration. Only valid users will be able to post reviews. We have limited one review per user. Therefore, the same user can not post multiple reviews for the same company.

Furthermore, HostingSeekers uses an algorithm to verify that the reviews are all relevant, true and genuine.

We highly encourage the companies listed on our platform to get customer reviews that showcase their performance around customer support, server uptime, features, pricing and user experience. These reviews can also be published by the listed companies on their own social media and also by the users on their social media. This will not only help in gaining more traction, but also help to reach a wider audience.

Our stats report is a monthly report that our clients can access on their dashboard and will also receive as an email on a monthly basis. It is like a monthly scorecard that gives you information around your reviews, profile visitors, traffic, rating, badges etc. This will help you to analyze your monthly performance and tweak your strategy accordingly.

We have an inbuilt fraud check system in place. Our system automatically detects spam or fake reviews. However, if you’d like to report a fake review of your listing, you can directly contact us and we can look into it.

We encourage you to address the negative concerns of your clients by providing a thorough explanation of the issues faced in the project in response to their review.

However, if you feel the negative review doesn’t truly reflect the experience your customer had with your company, you can send us your explanation with the logical attestation that proves the review incorrect. We assure you of full cooperation from our research team in such matters. We will investigate the details and ask for the reviewers’ take on the attestation as well. If he/she doesn’t reply within 48 hours with a suitable answer, the negative review will be removed from your profile.
